
Once an order has been made, it will be accepted and confirmed either by e-mail post or fax which will detail stock availability and the delivery expectation. Please provide as many contact numbers for delivery, as we can not dispatch any items without your verbal confirmation. Deliveries will require a signiture when delivery is made.
At rooms-direct.co.uk we offer FREE delivery to anywhere in mainland UK. Deliveries to Northern Ireland will be an additional charge of £70.00. For delivery to Isle of Man, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands, we can deliver to a port of your choice for onward shipping.
We work closely with a reputable furniture distribution company and will call you 1 hour before delivery on the agreed delivery date (please request this when you have your delivery booked in), so that you are not wasting your time waiting around. All the crew carry identification and are fully trained in handling all aspects of furniture.*
The dual delivery crew will place your furniture in the room of choice. Please ensure there is adequate access for our delivery vehicles. *
Upon delivery, the delivery crew will unpack your items and you will be given the opportunity to inspect your item(s) carefully before you sign for them by way of acceptance. Large items (e.g. beds, wardrobes, tables) may be delivered in more than one piece. You will be responsible for the items once you have signed for them. (Any returns must have the original packaging, please contact the sales team to arrange any returns)*
We make every effort to deliver your order within 2-6 weeks, usually much quicker where items are in stock. However delays to agreed delivery dates are occasionally inevitable and rooms-direct.co.uk will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery arising from circumstances outside our control.
If any delivery will exceed 2-6 weeks from confirmation of order, notification will be sent to you. You may decide to cancel your order and if so this will be processed immediately. A full refund will be returned to you within 30 days of when the cancellation took place. However, rooms-direct.co.uk will not be obliged to offer any compensation for loss or disappointment incurred on any orders cancelled in this way.
